Antique Four Arm Brass Rise and Fall Chandelier 24"

Description

Antique brass rise and fall chandelier with glass shades. Originally gas powered, this chandelier has been sympathetically converted to electricity while retaining its original rise and fall mechanism. The fitting can still be raised and lowered, although regular adjustment is not recommended as the wiring is not designed for continual movement. The integral brass ceiling rose screws directly to the ceiling, allowing the chandelier to be hung at the desired height. The reeded central column is fitted with high-quality cast brass ornament depicting leaves, flowers and scrolls. The four arms support glass shades, which can easily be changed to suit the buyer's preference if desired. The chandelier is finished with a decorative brass finial. Minimum height 95 cm, maximum height 146 cm. Width including the glass shades is 60 cm. Fitted with four B22 (large bayonet) bulb holders.

In our specialist restoration workshop, we put the craftsman at the heart of what we do with care, authenticity and pride.

You can arrange your own transport or collect in person. We ship worldwide and have extensive experience of wrapping carefully so you can shop with confidence! We often deliver for free to mainland UK - please contact us to discuss.

You can also view items at our restoration workshop by appointment only.

Our lighting has all been lovingly restored, tested and earthed but will need to be installed by a qualified electrician. All of our furniture has been through our antique restoration workshop.
