A mid 17th Century Oak Joint Stool in the most wonderful condition, of fabulous colour and highly burnished dry untouched surface with golden faded top, these features make this piece special and one that would appeal to a collector. With all parts original and the pegs unaltered throughout, standing very well on feet that have lost no hight over the years. The top with thumb moulded edge, the rails and stretchers having scratch mould decoration, Standing on turned legs which are well splayed. Circa 1660
