A beautiful large heavy Danish solid sterling silver dressing table / jewellery box. It is hallmarked 925S standard, STERLING and the makers mark of Axel Salomonsen who operated in Copenhagen from 1933 to 1977. It has been beautifully made and is in superb condition, having no dings, splits, holes or repairs. It measures approx. 5 inches (12.6cm) across by over 3 inches (8cm) wide by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) tall and weighs 262 grams. A beautiful piece.
