Description

This Richly Carved Oriental Camphorwood Trunk is not only extremely useful but also offers a visual treat. Profusely carved with scenes containing people, buildings and vegetation on the sides and the top.

On opening the top, you will find a cavernous area for storage and also be greeted with the exotic scent of the Camphorwood, which helped to protect the precious fabrics stored from insects. Standing on carved bracket feet, along with carrying handles to the sides. The polished brasswork adds a lovely contrast to the timber. On removing the Oriental padlock, and by lifting the hasp you will find the keyhole for the traditional key to unlock the piece.

Supplied with the two working keys needed.
