A handsome Regency period rosewood veneered and brass inlayed open bookcase; the well figured top with its leading edge inlayed with brass above a frieze centred by an ormolu mount; below are adjustable bookshelves flanked by turned columns which are decorated with ormolu mounts and raised on shaped bracket feet. Having carrying handles to the sides.
 
Circa 1810
 
This bookcase is perfect for a sitting room or in an elegant bedroom, the ormolu mounts are all original.
