16th-17th Century Armada Chest

GOOD EARLY SHIPS STRONG BOX ALSO KNOWN AS AN ARMADA CHEST FROM ITS USE BY CAPTAINS ON WOODEN SAILING SHIPS, 16TH OR 17TH CENTURY IN CONSTRUCTION IT HAS A FAKE LOCK PLATE TO THE FRONT WITH THE REAL KEY HOLE CONCEALED IN THE TOP. THE KEY IS PRESENT. A FURTHER LOCK BOX IS IN SIDE WITH HIDDEN SLIDING LOCK AND THE INTRICATE LOCKING SYSTEM LOCKS THE BOX AT SEVERAL POINTS MAKING IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN WITHOUT THE KEY THE BOX ALSO HAS FURTHER LOCKING POINTS WITH 2 HASPS ON THE FRONT FOR PADLOCKS. THE CHEST IS IN GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH ITS CARRYING HANDLES HASPS AND KEY ALL PRESENT
