A late 19th century French cupboard with a large single door featuring a panel carved with an urn, foliage and grapes, and a full width drawer above. The cupboard has panelled sides and further carved details to the drawer front, and has bun feet at the front with block feet to the rear. A useful and attractive piece of furniture.I have seen similar styles of cupboard referred to as ‘jam cupboards’ - I’m not sure if that’s what this is, but a cupboard just for jam is a nice idea!Condition: There is a discoloured area on the bottom moulding along the front of the cupboard, and also on the same moulding but at the back on the right hand side - there is a small amount of paint splatter here as well that didn’t want to come off!
