Description

A decorative Edwardian chinoiserie black lacquered antique footstool with finely hand painted gilt scenes and pagodas in relief. The stool stands on four square legs and has pierced fretted design to the corners.

The stool has been newly upholstered and finished with a bronze and brown basket weave fabric.

Height - 28 cm (11 inches)

Width - 48 cm (18 ¾ inches)

Depth - 37 cm (14 ½ inches)

Circa - 1900
