The doors open to reveal a shelved interior with a drawer, offering generous and practical storage.The armoire stands on a shaped apron and short cabriole legs, surmounted by a moulded cornice with dentil detail. Crafted from solid oak, the piece displays a fabulous rich colour and patina, developed over centuries to a deep, glowing tone that highlights the natural grain and character of the wood.The interior is entirely original and beautifully aged displaying the rich character and patina consistent with its circa 1680 date.
