Antique Cut Glass Olive Dish Set – Boxed
A very attractive late Victorian / early Edwardian cut glass olive serving set, presented in its original fitted case.
The set comprises:
Two matching cut glass olive dishes, beautifully faceted with star-cut bases and deeply cut rims
Two matching silver-plated olive forks, each clearly stamped “JB & S BP”
Original black fitted presentation case with satin-lined lid
The forks are silver plated (British Plate) and were manufactured by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, a well-known and respected Victorian maker.
Please note: this is silver plate, not solid silver.

Glass dishes are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks noted
Forks show light surface wear consistent with age and gentle use
Case shows age-related wear, commensurate with ove

Use Traditionally used for olives, pickles, or hors d’oeuvres, but equally decorative for display.
