An antique Burr Walnut glazed bookcase and dating from around 1880. This lovely bookcase has a square edge to the top finished with gilt metal edge underneath and a serpentine lip. It has two glazed doors with a key, brass escutcheons and a single shelf inside. It is gilt mounted to each side and on the top and bottom. It is moulded around the bottom and stands on a serpentine shaped plinth.
