Cut Glass Champagne Cooler With Gilt Bronze Mounts

An extremely fine Cut and Etched Glass Wine Bucket or Champagne Cooler with Gilt Bronze (ormolu) mounts. The body is beautifully decorated with deep diamond-cut to the lower section and then delicate etched vine leaves and grape detail above. The rim is finished with an ornate cast gilt bronze collar, and then flanked by two cast Lions heads with ring handles from their mouths also in Gilt Bronze.
