A George 3rd Mahogany small clothes press and dating from around 1780. This clothes press has a moulded cornice with a dental moulding and a fretwork carved lip underneath. It has two doors to the top both of which has a fielded panel with Brass escutheons and key. Inside are three slide tray drawers. Each corner of the top is canted and readed. The base is moulded around the top with a pull out brushing slide above three long drawers, all of which are Oak lined with Brass handles and escutcheons. It is moulded around the bottom and stands on bracket feet and the top lifts off the base for ease of movement,
