Antique Victorian Ebonised Stool / Bench

Description

A wonderful antique Victorian ebonised stool / bench. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1900 period.

Originally designed as a duet piano stool, this makes a very useful bench to be used in various locations around the home. The ebonised solid wood frame is of extremely fine quality, with lovely details. This is finished identically front and back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for its age.

Depth – 14 inches , 36 cm

Height – 21 inches , 53 cm
