Pair of Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Salts with Liners 1845

Description

This is a superb pair of antique Victorian sterling silver salts with blue glass liners all in super condition and measuring 2 1/4" (6 cms) across x 1 3/4" (4.5 cms) tall.

Each salt has a letter 'D' on one leg and an armorial crest on another with the motto 'I Will'.

The two glass liners have star cut bases which gives you an idea of the quality

They're hallmarked for Birmingham 1845 with one silversmith mark for John Yapp & John Woodward and the other for John Woodward.

They weigh 117 grams/3.8 troy oz the pair without the liners.

These lovely salts will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
