Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Produced during the reign of King Edward VII between 1901 and 1910, Edwardian silver trinket trays feature refined, lightweight classical revival motifs, bright polished surfaces, and embossed or chased central details designed for dressing tables.

British silver trays from this era were crafted from sterling silver, which contains 92.5 percent pure silver alloyed with copper for added strength, and stamped with official assay office hallmarks.

Authentic items bear a complete set of British hallmarks, including the lion passant symbol for sterling purity, an assay office location stamp, a makers mark, and the specific date letter corresponding to 1904.

An antique silver tray functions effectively as a decorative accent on bedside tables, sideboards, or vanity units to hold small items such as jewellery, cuff links, or keys.

Maintain the finish by wiping gently with a soft cotton cloth and using a non-abrasive silver polish sparingly to remove tarnish while preserving the natural patina in the recessed areas.
