Large 18th Century Old Sheffield Plated Coffee Jug

A rare large coffee jug made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing no makers mark but visibly seamed to the interior and dating to c1790. Of particularly statuesque proportions and with a fine wooden handle. With beautifully engraved initials to the front.
In good condition with only with minor copper bleed to the initials to the front. Slight ripple to edge of lid and very small section of edging missing around the spout. Very clean interior.

Span approx 25.5cm.
Height approx 27cm
Base diameter approx 11cm
All UK Mainland Postage is included in the price of the item. Parcels under 2kg will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery and over 2kg by Parcelforce 48.
