A Superb Antique/old Pine Victorian Waxed 2 Piece Linen Press

This linen press is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina.

It does knockdown into two pieces making it easier to move into a property. The top section is still reasonably quite large so a staircase would need to be straight with no turns.

The linen press would look well in an old or modern property amongst similar antique pine furniture for storage of many clothes. It would also look great in a large bedroom. It would also look great in a kitchen for storage of kitchen items.

The cupboard stands on original round bun feet supporting the main section. There are four large drawers. The drawers have cock beading around the edge and a wooden knob. The drawers have dovetail joints and are pine lined. Above the drawers the top sits neatly upon the base with two doors. Each door has one panel. There is a key and round turned wooden knobs to the doors. The top has a standard graduated cornice. There are two shelves behind the doors and the shelves are not fixed so you could place more in if needed.

The height is 201cm, the width is 139cm and the depth is 60cm.

It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
