Description

An excellent quality large French late 19th Century gilded bronze four light antique hall lantern, the bulbous reeded candle sconces with acorn bases, surrounded by a four sectional circular convex glass panels and held within a decorative scrolling framework with Dionysus mask heads, grained side panels, reeded finials with open scrolling canopy, having the original chain and ceiling rose. Excellent large scale and nice original patination. Provenance: From the Italian Consulate in Charleroi Belgium with reference numbers. Fully rewired and PAT tested. All our lanterns come with bulbs and ceiling fixings.
