An excellent pair of fully cast silver bonbon spoons. These lovely examples are assayed at the collectable Chester office and date to the Edwardian period. The spoons are pierced and have foliar and scroll details to both the handle and bowl. To the centre of the bowls are charming masked figures and the pair have full hallmarks to the reverse. Bonbon spoons were used for serving, the pierced bowl allowing the powdered sugar to fall through, leaving just the sweetmeat on the spoon. A wonderful, collectable pair of spoons, still usable today. Dimensions below.
