Rare Thistle Shaped Silver Plated & Glass Cayenne Pepper Pot C1890 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare antique silver plate and cut glass cayenne pepper pot. I would date it to c1890. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a thistle. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The glass is free from chips repairs and cracks. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.4cm) tall by over 1.75 inches (4.8cm) across the base and weighs 154 grams. A top quality very unusual piece.
