This is an antique silver plated soup tureen. Standing on an oval pedestal base supporting the oval bowl. The base, top and lid are mounted with a Greek key decoration. The side handles are modelled as stags. The finial is of a female deer. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made.
Length of bowl excluding the stags: 26.5cm (10.5'')
Width: 21.5cm (8.5'')
Height is approximately: 30.5cm (12'')
