A wonderful French mid-19th century Lacemakers lamp, with a reservoir and drip tray above a moulded knight in armour. Square conical foot with alternative shields and fleur-de-lis.
The moulding is of a very high, clear standard and very similar to that seen on moulded Baccarat glass decanters from the same period of which we have had a few.
A wonderful decorative piece.
