A Rare and Beautiful Millefiori Glass Paperweight

This most eye catching paper weight is most likely Italian Murano glass and dates to circa 1920.

This paperweight is most unusual as it has millefiori cane decoration which has been cut and melted onto the exterior of the clear glass weight.

The spectrum of bright colours used in the canes is lovely and distinctive, giving this superb small paperweight great eye appeal and a very tactile feel in the hand. Its slightly raised and uneven surface makes it very tactile. This Millefiori glass paperweight is in very good original condition.
