Rare Asprey Sterling Silver Round Vesta Case 1905 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare Edwardian English antique solid sterling silver vesta case holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the makers mark being those of Asprey. It has been superbly designed being circular and is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, a couple of fait marks to the front and one to the edge see final photo. The spring is strong. It measures approx. 2 inches (4.7cms) and weighs 25 grams. A very unusual example.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
