English Victorian Sterling Silver Antler Cutlery Rests 1894 Hunting Antiques 52g

Description

A superb pair of unusual English Victorian antique solid sterling silver cutlery rests. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1894 with the maker being Harrison Brothers & Howson (Henry Harrison). They have been superbly made of sterling silver mounted antler tips - possibly hunting trophies. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, one is smoother than the other - I assume the stag used some points more than others? They measure approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cm) long and have a combined weight of 52 grams. Very good quality unusual examples.
