Technical Description

A rare early 19th century Georgian glass tea caddy dating to c1820.

It has its original diamond cut mushroom stopper with a polished pontil on top. The tea caddy is square with slice cuts to the neck and two bands of diamonds separated by prism cuts. Large polished pontil to the base.

An exceptional high quality example.

Date & Origin

England, c1780. Period of George III.

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration
