Beautiful Sterling Silver Enamel Dressing Table Box 1909 Antique 92g

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful antique solid sterling silver and enamel dressing table box or pot. It is hallmarked with the import marks for Birmingham 1909 with the importer being Steinhart & Co. It has been beautifully made with the lid being enamelled and the inside being gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just a couple of faint marks to the side and base edge - see final photos. The enamel is free from cracks chips and repair. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by over 1 inch (2.8cm) wide and weighs 92 grams. A beautiful piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
