Aqua Enamelled Silver Brooch By Norwegian Designer Albert Scharning

A stunning vintage silver and guilloche enamel brooch. This fabulous brooch is wonderfully styled and is coloured with gorgeous aqua blue guilloche enamel with silver gilt around the edges. The design of two long overlapping leaves with curled stems has lovely fluid curves and looks wonderful however you style it.
 
The brooch fastens securely with a nice straight pin in a ''c'' clasp.
 
On the back the designers mark for Albert Scharning is clearly stamped along with Norway Sterling 925s for sterling silver. Scharning produced his pieces in Oslo and died in the 1950''s.
 
 
 
Great for a collector of Norwegian jewellery. An unusual brooch in very good condition.
 
Period: circa 1930''s.
