Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The design of two long overlapping leaves with curled stems has lovely fluid curves and looks wonderful however you style it.

The brooch fastens securely with a nice straight pin in a 'c' clasp.
On the back the designers mark for Albert Scharning is clearly stamped along with Norway Sterling 925s for sterling silver. Scharning produced his pieces in Oslo and died in the 1950's.

Great for a collector of Norwegian jewellery. An unusual brooch in very good condition.
