Antique French Shabby Chic Oak Cupboard

19th century
Description

A stunning french oak cupboard that dates to around 1860.

In completely original condition with a nice original shabby chic finish. I think it was painted around 1900 in white and the paint wear has an attractive scaled finish that resembles crocodile skin

Has two drawers over two cupboards sitting on bun feet, a shelf inside and comes with its’ original working lock and key

It measures 44 inches wide, 39 inches high and 19 inches deep

This cupboard has been lovingly cleaned and waxed and is a real statement piece in original distressed paintwork that would suit a period or contemporary setting
