A mid-19th century Scottish opaque twist wine glass
It has a conical bowl with an annulated shoulder knop. Sits on a thin double series opaque twist stem and conical foot with a polished pontil.
The form, which is very distinctive, with the shoulder knop and very thin stem is attributed to the Edinburgh and Leith Glassworks in the first half of the 19th century.
