A very unusual English silver plated spoon warmer. It is unmarked but dates to c1880 when these were briefly popular. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with the single initial A and most unusually has a small tank to the base for holding hot water. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, no wear. It measure approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) long by 3.25 inches (8.2cm) wide by 5 inches (12.8cm) to the top of the handle and weigh 382 grams. A super quality rare piece.
