Set of 3 Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Berry Spoons & Sifter in Case 1898

Description

This is a superb pair of antique Victorian solid sterling silver berry spoons with matching sifter spoon in their original presentation case.

All three items are hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 with the silversmiths mark for Elkington & Co and the inside of the case is marked 'Elkington & Co, Newcastle on Tyne'.

They have beautiful fruit decoration in the bowls which are gilded.

The spoons each measure 6" (15 cms) long and the sifter is 4 3/4" (12 cms) and they weigh 79.8 grams / 2.5 troy oz the lot.

This set is in excellent condition - the only fault I can find is that the catch on the box doesn't work properly - and will come with a certificate of authenticity.
