Cased Pair of Sterling Silver Roberts Family Crested Berry Serving Spoons 1766

Description

A stunning rare pair of cased Georgian antique solid sterling silver berry serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London 1766 with the maker being Thomas Morley. They have been superbly made being embossed with berries and the terminals engraved with a crest used by the Roberts family. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The case is later c1970s made for the spoons, it has a few light scuffs to the lid. They measure approx. 8.5 inches (21cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) wide and combined weigh 102 grams excluding the case. A super quality rare pair.
