A superb pair of French gilt bronze mounted and cut glass blue overlay lamps in Louis XVI style dating from the late 19th century circa 1890. The fine deeply cut body are of urn form with leaf-sheathed scroll handles, on square section columns applied with laurel leaves and stiff leaf cast bronze square plinths. Later fitted for electricity these are a really large and impressive pair at 60cm in height.
