Antique Edwardian Mahogany Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A smart and extremely well made antique Edwardian mahogany bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around 1890-1910.

It is of superb quality, this has a panelled back and refined design. The base has two panelled doors and sits on bracket feet, the upper section has astral glazed doors with adjustable shelves inside. The top half lifts off the base for ease of transport, and the cornice can also be lifted off the top section.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some extremely minor wear remaining here and there beneath the polish, the mahogany has a beautiful colour tone and patina.

Depth – 19 inches , 49 cm
