This pair of nineteenth century Neoclassical table lamps takes the form of dark brown composition hopper style figures of Diane de Gabies dressed in classical drapery. Each female figure is mounted on a red scagliola cylindrical marble plinth with stepped mouldings and a square base. The design includes adjustable brass light fitments extending upward from the figures. The piece measures 54 cm high, 16 cm wide, and 16 cm deep.
