A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as an oval medal depicting the Madonna and Child, signed Vern. The reverse depicts a bunch of roses and lilies and the phrase ''Mater Dei'' (Mother of God) and is engraved with the name Gabrielle and the date ''17 Septembre 1909''. Stamped with the eagle''s head mark for 18 karat gold and French manufacture and a partial maker''s mark.
