An 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a medal depicting the Virgin Mary in a halo, over the words Ave Maria. Signed E. Dropsy, stamped with the eagle mark for 18 karat gold and French manufacture with an unknown maker''s mark. The reverse shows a gothic arch surround engraved to the centre with the monogram CA / AC and the date 5 Aout 1920.
