A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a medal representing Saint John the Baptist as a child with a cross and a sheepskin over one shoulder. Signed Tairac, stamped with the eagle's head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold with an unknown maker’s mark. The reverse with a finely detailed field of lilies to the top, engraved with the initials J.J.M. and the date 17 Avril 1912 below.
