Extremely Large Rare Georgian Old Sheffield Plated Tankard

Description

This superb Old Sheffield Plated tankard is of very large proportions. Dating to c1780-1820, this is a very impressive piece. With a beautifully embossed lid and visibly seamed to both interior and exterior. Of very heavy quality and with a clean interior. A very rare piece due to its exceptional size.

The condition overall is good with no dents, splits or repairs. There is some slight copper bleed to the lid and base due to age and use.

Weight approx 1.5kg.
