A Gorgeous Victorian Silver Mounted Cranberry 'penny' Scent Bottle

A gorgeous silver mounted scent bottle of flattened disc form, know as a ''penny'' scent. The silver lid unscrews to reveal the original peg stopper. There is a silver chain which attaches via a jump ring to the lid, suggesting use as a pendant. This beautiful example has a cranberry glass body. A wonderful collector''s piece and gift idea, both decorative and usable. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass and no dents or splits to the silver.
 
Hallmarks :- Unmarked (not unusual with small scent bottle lids. Tests as silver). The chain is stamped 925, Spain

Depth :- 0.6 cms.
