Antique Silver Plated Inkstand by Walker & Hall C1880

Description

This is an antique silver plated inkstand. The rectangular tray has four elaborately decorated feet with paws. This is mounted in an Arts & Crafts design. The raised edge is crisply engraved with scrolls and flowers around a vacant cartouche. This retains its two original glass inkwells that have silver plated hinged mounts. The tops are embossed. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Walker & Hall stamped underneath.

Length: 29cm (11.5")

Width: 20cm (8")
