A very good early 17th Century Oak Joint Stool of wonderful colour, in outstanding original condition. Having boldly turned legs and lunette work carved to the frieze. The pegs are in untouched condition and the particularly good top has developed a lovely sun bleached colour with good patina. To the underneath is a dry untouched surface with traces of the original pit saw markings.
