1680 Very Rare Southampton Trefid Spoon Made by Peter Webb 20cms Long

Description

This is a very rare spoon made in Southampton in c1680 by Peter Webb. It is in very good condition, the hallmarks are rubbed, it has the barbed rose struck twice on the stem and maker in the bowl, the marks are virtually identical to one sold by Woolley and Wallis in 2018. It is 20cms long and weighs 40 grams, it has lovely period owners initials IC over SC dated 1697.
