Description

A fabulous French Marquetry circular side table the top profusely inlaid with Chinese scenes consisting of a Chinaman riding his boat / junk up river past a fisherman and temples towards trees the under tier has scenes of his return , the front and sides have floral marquetry set in Rosewood panels and are cross banded with Tulipwood , the gallery and Sabot feet mounts are Ormolu . Circa 1880 .
