A Gorgeous Georgian Etched Tea Caddy Bowl

A gorgeous glass tea caddy bowl for the late Georgian period. This lovely example would have originally come from a wooden tea caddy box and the bowl was used for blending and mixing the tea leaves - it is not a sugar bowl, as is often mistakenly stated. It has a raised foot with polished pontil mark and the straight sides are etched with flowers and leaves. A good collector's piece, useful as a bowl for any purpose. Dimensions below.
