Description

Finding a fancy coloured old cut diamond is a rare event, and even rarer when it's as bright and vibrant as this. The old European cut in the centre is mounted within a white gold box setting, and displays a light but bright lemony yellow. Two pairs of icy white baguette cut diamonds are set in the step-down shoulders, to a nicely substantial D-shaped platinum shank.

Accompanied by a diamond grading report from IGR.

Cut:? Old European in the centre and baguette cuts in the shoulders.

Colour:? The centre is light fancy yellow. The diamonds in the shoulders are G to H.

Clarity:? VS2 in the centre and VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders.

Carat:? The centres is approximately 1.00 carat, with a further 0.14 carat (approx.) in the shoulders.

Condition:? The ring has been fitted with a new band (not by us).

Circa:? 1950.

Size:? L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The diamond is approximately 6.5mm in diameter. The ring is 7.6mm at the widest point and sits 6.9mm from the finger.

Weight:? 5.95 grams.

Metal:? The band is platinum, with British hallmarks. The head of the ring is 18k white gold; tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyser.
