A charming hallmarked silver mounted letter opener or paper knife, from the late Victorian era. This useful item has a horn shaped, rope twist handle in hallmarked silver and a tortoiseshell blade with an angled point. The slender and flat shape of the blade would also serve well as a bookmark. A delightful and collectable piece with practical uses. Dimensions below.
