We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

An Edwardian revolving bookcase is a freestanding or table-top rotating storage unit designed during the Edwardian era to allow easy access to a collection of books from any angle.

These pieces were typically crafted from solid mahogany, satinwood, or walnut, often featuring decorative marquetry or string inlay and a concealed internal cruciform rotating mechanism.

Authenticity is indicated by period-appropriate dovetail joints, hand-cut secondary timbers, traditional polish finishes, and the presence of genuine age-related wear on the rotating mechanism.

It functions effectively as an occasional side table or display stand in a living room or study, combining practical book storage with classic architectural interest.

Maintenance involves dusting with a soft, dry cloth, applying traditional beeswax periodically to nourish the wood, and avoiding placement in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
